SUNDAY INSPIRATION

Grace

God loves me unconditionally.

The blessing of divine grace is mine, for I have been created by and am eternally one with God. To gain an even greater sense of the majesty of divine grace, I take a few moments to withdraw from the activity, sounds, and circumstances around me.

Closing my eyes, I become quiet, calm, and conscious of God's presence within me. I let this sacred awareness expand so I am enfolded in the Holy Presence.

My faith does not waver because the grace of God does not waver. Regardless of what I may experience, as I continue to acknowledge the presence of God, grace sees me through. The

unconditional love of God is actively blessing me at all times and in all places. With full comprehension and appreciation, I accept the blessing of grace.

"For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace."--Romans 6:14

SUNDAY INSPIRATION,

CHRIST LIGHT
I am energized and ready to take on the day.
The light of Christ shines within me, revealing that every challenge is an opportunity for me to give expression to divine wisdom that is at the core of my being.
Conscious of the spirit of Christ within, I leave all the challenges and concerns that appear during a day with that day. I begin each morning anew, energized and ready to take on the day.
To maintain the momentum, I place any concern or apprehension that surfaces into the light of Christ. I affirm: Christ in me is more powerful than any appearance of a challenge to my mind and body.
My thinking is clear. My conversations are meaningful. My body is energized. I am confident and courageous.
"For it is the God who said, รข€˜Let light shine out of darkness,' who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."--2 Corinthians 4:6

Taken from the HOLY BIBLE: NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION (C) 1978 by the New York Bible Society, used by permission of Zondervan Bible Publishers

JOH 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends

If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up

Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered

18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother

PRO 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

To Obey is Better than Sacrifice

A lot of us can be busy building the kingdom but have forgotten the King. We can actually be doing "good" but not actually obeying God.

This is a little tricky because after all, God wants us to do good, to be a blessing and to be at work in the ministry. And yes, that's true! Don't take me wrong, God is glorified with all your labor of love for him. (1 Cor. 15:58) Saul was also doing everything that's good. In 1 Sam 15:20-21, Saul said "But I did obey the LORD," "I went on the mission the LORD assigned me. I completely destroyed the Amalekites and brought back Agag their king. The soldiers took sheep and cattle from the plunder, the best of what was devoted to God, in order to sacrifice them to the LORD your God at Gilgal." But he was rebuked by Samuel saying "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD ?"(1 Sam. 15:22)
Saul was doing what he thinks is good. Saul rationalized that even though God commanded to destory everything, the plunder they brought would still be acceptable as it will still be offered to God. He failed to obey what exactly God wants him to do. This failure led him to be rejected as King.

In the same way, we can be very busy at ministering, helping the sick, donating to charities and doing "good" based on our understanding but not actually obeying God's will for our lives.

Let's seek God's will in our lives during our time alone with Him and assuredly He'll direct you to what He wants to do in a clear manner and know that His will is good, perfect and pleasing for you.(Romans 12:2) And If you seek him, you will find him(Jer. 29:13)
